Woman Marine Vet to Run for President of USA in 2012

(I-Newswire) October 28, 2009 - – Rayna Gangi isn't rich or famous. She's not tall, skinny, or male, but she loves her country, believes in the Constitution, and is determined to bring truth back to Washington, D.C.

In a statement made on internet social sites and through her popular and highly-rated international podcast, Ms. Gangi said, "I figure I’m like that ragged building in NYC that Glenn Beck saw, someone who believes in God and Country. I've done Community Organizing. I've done small business. I've worked for Corporations and always paid my taxes. I've served in the military and traveled the country on foot. I'm experienced in media, been to law school and I graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude from SUNY at Buffalo with a double major. I've raised kids and taken care of the elderly. I've worked in financial services, sold insurance and know health care.

A student of American History, I've read Mao, Stalin, Soros, Hitler, AND G. Washington, T. Jefferson, Samual Adams and Mary Jemison. I believe we should audit and close the Fed, get out of the UN, seize the banks who have stolen from us and start fresh with a brand new Congress."

In an obvious point made to the "birthers" movement, she says, "I can prove I was born in Jamestown New York, and I've had only one social security number since I started working at the age of sixteen."

She believes the country started changing in the sixties, and she experienced both sides of the issues. "I was a Marine, but I didn't like the war. I loved my country, but I hated seeing friends die."

In poignant and pungent remarks obviously directed at the Obama administration she said, "I know about Marxists and university intellectuals. In 1971 I was working for IBM while teaching Women's Studies in a university. I learned about collectives and Marxist-Leninist theory and feminism and globalism. I was a walking contradiction. But not any more."

She says she doesn't believe we need a civilian military force as the Obama administration has stated because we have the National Guard and the Oath Keepers.
"What we do need," she says, "is a Commander-in-Chief who understands what our military stands for, what it feels like to go to war, and the necessity of winning once we are committed."

Her votes on Facebook and other social sites are climbing rapidly, and her emails are full of supporters vowing to help her on her quest. She says her campaign will be simple.

"I don't have coffers and backers in Hollywood or Chicago. I won't take money from lobbyists or corporations and I can't be bought. It's time to bring truth and integrity back to Washington, and a pride in being American. It's not an easy job. Being American means taking responsibility for the freedoms we enjoy, and having the guts to fight for those freedoms when they're threatened."

Gangi has several offers already for radio interviews and small rallys. "They're small so far," she says. "After all, I've only been running for 24 hours. People know the truth when they hear it and I have nothing to hide. I have my flaws, have made my mistakes, and believe God understands I'm human. I don't lie, cheat, steal, or kill. How often do you hear those words in Washington and believe them?"
