WizIQ today announced the addition of new features to its WizIQ Virtual Classroom app for the iPads and Android tablets.

The app is free for WizIQ users, enabling access to online classes from iPads and Android tablets.

With this new version of the WizIQ app, students can:

Watch class recordings: If students miss class, they can now view it afterwards.

View the teacher's screen or desktop: Students can now view the screen or desktop shared by the teacher inside the virtual classroom.

Access uploaded or embedded audio or video files: Teachers can share any audio or video files with their students that they can access them on their iPads or Android tablets.

Navigate within a video: While watching a video, students can pause it, adjust its volume or view it full screen with writing controls. The Android users can watch YouTube videos, too.

Use undo and redo options on the whiteboard: Undo and redo buttons now become active for students when they are provided with writing control by their teacher.

View poll results: Students can view poll results shared by the teacher on their iPads and Android tablets in List View, Bar Chart and Pie Chart formats.

Navigate between multiple tabs: Browsing between different presentations or Whiteboards is easy.

Harman Singh, CEO of WizIQ, says, "These new features will improve the students' experience whether in a physical classroom or in an online class conducted anywhere."

The WizIQ app can be downloaded from the Apple store for iPads and the Google store for Android tablets.
