The SmartCable Mitutoyo UWAVE Adapters have a small internal battery that converts the gage signal so that the UWAVE transmitter thinks it is a Mitutoyo gage. This allows the adapters to work on these NiCad batteries for years. Customers can trigger gage readings using the UWAVE send button, or ASDQMS’s built-in footswitch. As with all of ASDQMS’s other products, no software wedge is required.
