The Department of Radiology at Winthrop-University Hospital welcomes Michael Brooks, MD, MPH to our faculty.

Online, February 25, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Dr. Brooks joins Winthrop Radiology on Long Island after completing a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the Brigham and Women's Hospital (Harvard Medical School) in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Brooks is certified by the completion of his Residency in Radiology at Tuft's University Medical Center in Boston and is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. He received both his Medical degree and his Master of Public Health degree from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Brooks' clinical interests include both diagnostic and therapeutic (musculoskeletal injections; including extensive training in arthrography and image guided injections) procedures, cross sectional body imaging and general radiography. He has a strong interest in teaching and in musculoskeletal radiology musculoskeletal radiology research.
