William Joseph Communications Helps Alberta Flood Victims in Conjunction with the Graphic Designers of Canada

William Joseph collaborates with GDC on the initiative GDChelpsYYC - reTOUCHING MEMORIES

William Joseph Communications has partnered with the Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC) in support of the program GDChelpsYYC - reTOUCHING MEMORIES, which aims to help those effected by the recent Alberta floods.

As the flood waters recede, Albertans take stock of what they've lost. In an effort to help victims recover those personal belongings which money cannot replace, the program GDChelpsYYC - reTOUCHING MEMORIES has been born. This program has been developed in order to retouch and restore priceless family photos that have been damaged in the floods. The Graphic Designers of Canada and William Joseph Communications want to help restore some of these damaged photos with the help of talented professional members across Canada. They are donating their time to digitally retouch these photographs and help bring back something precious that was lost.

If you've had photos damaged by flood water, select up to 10 of your most treasured pictures and bring them to William Joseph Communications. Photo submissions are being accepted until September 1st, 2013. These photo submissions will then be scanned and forwarded to a volunteer designer, who will then begin digitally restoring them. Volunteer Designers across Canada are standing by, ready to take on these projects.

Up to 10 photos per person will be accepted. Photographs should be cleaned and dried, and be no larger than 8.5×11 inches. Damaged photos can be dropped at the Calgary office of William Joseph Communications, located on the 2nd floor of Eau Claire Market, 174 - 200 Barclay Parade SW. Photo submissions will be accepted weekdays from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
