Westcon Middle East Introduces Clearswift to the Middle East

(I-Newswire) July 20, 2009 - Westcon ME, a leading value-added distributor of security, convergence, identification and infrastructure products and solutions for global technology vendors, has signed an agreement with UK-based Clearswift for the distribution of data, email and web security solutions. Having previously supported the region from UK, Clearswift now plans to increase its Middle Eastern presence through the opening of an office in Dubai Internet City and the appointment of Westcon as the sole distributor for the region covering U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt & Libya.

Having offices in the UK, USA, Japan, Spain, Germany and now Dubai, Clearswift is an information security company providing content-aware, policy-based solutions to over 17,000 organizations to manage and maintain no-compromise data, e-mail and web security.

Through the distributorship, Westcon ME will now offer the full range of Clearswift products, though the initial area of focus will be the Clearswift Web and Email Appliances. With active customers already present in the region, Westcon ME will also be responsible to handle the existing client and partner base, while offering existing program benefits like deal registration, increased margins and the recently launched Clearswift Catalyst Program to the channel.
