West Ridge Academy proudly honors five students who have recently fulfilled the requirements to earn the prestigious Eagle Scout Award. Amazingly this will mark over 60 Eagle Scout Awards presented to students at West Ridge Academy within the past 5 years.

Ken Allen, Executive Director, stated, "When one considers that only 2% of all boys who start the Boy Scout program reach the rank of Eagle, we are thrilled with the success our students have been able to achieve while attending West Ridge Academy." Each Eagle candidate must earn a minimum of 21 merit badges and successfully complete a community, church or synagogue - related service project in order to earn the Boys Scouts highest rank of Eagle Scout.

It is because of the efforts of countless volunteers, hard work on the part of the scouts and many committed Scout Masters (all of whom share their time and talents at their own expense with the scouting program) that West Ridge Academy enjoys such a successful scouting program.
