Weddings by Chris Leary Photography to Award Thousands of Dollars in Wedding Photography

(I-Newswire) February 4, 2010 - NEW YORK, NY—February 1, 2010—Committed to helping couples create their dream wedding regardless of the economy, Weddings by Chris Leary Photography announces a contest for wedding couples, with the grand prize of eight hours of free wedding photography by Leary and a second photographer.

The winning couple receives thousands of dollars’ worth of photography, which includes all travel expenses within a 150-mile radius of zip code 10001. Three to four thousand pictures will be taken and edited to approximately eight hundred to one thousand final proof selections, which will be posted online.

Last year’s winner was selected by owner Chris Leary, but this year will be different. “Judging these unique, heartfelt entries is the most difficult part of this contest,” says Leary. “I have enlisted the help of last year's winner, Shaquia Sessoms, to be a judge with me for this year’s contest. She and her husband were very happy with their wedding photos and with the money they saved.”

Due to an overwhelming response to this year's contest, the deadline for entries has been extended to February 28, 2010, and the winner will be announced on March 7, 2010. In addition, all participants will be eligible for 10% off any standard wedding photography package or 50% off any portrait session.

According to Leary, “The contest entries received so far have been simply amazing. I want to give couples a chance to have their voices heard. Since there has been an overwhelming response, the deadline has been extended to give more couples an opportunity to participate in this unique contest.”
