Vice President of the European Commission Speaks About Cloud Computing Through ISL Groop Web Conference

Web conferencing service, provided by ISL Online on the EuroCloud Day, was a success. Neelie Kroes, Vice President of the European Commission, delivered her speech live through ISL Groop web conference to 1200 attendees in 14 European countries.

Swindon (I-Newswire) June 10, 2012 - EuroCloud Day, held on 23rd May 2012, brought together 14 EU countries and over 1200 attendees which assisted the largest online conference. To carry out this technically demanding task EuroCloud management team has chosen ISL Online, which provided its web conferencing software ISL Groop and supported the event with its tech team.

EuroCloud organizations from UK, Italy, Germany, Austria and 10 other European countries all organized local EuroCloud venues and joined the ISL Groop web conference to watch and hear the speeches of the eminent guests, experts in the cloud computing area.

Neelie Kroes, the European Commissioner for Digital Agenda, emphasized the importance of cloud computing and the challenges that the EU strategy in this area is trying to solve.
