Ve Interactive Appoints General Counsel

Ve Interactive, the international technology company that develops award-winning basket abandonment solutions for the e-commerce industry, today announced that Jocelyn Whinney has joined the company as General Counsel.

Bringing her media and commercial law expertise in house, Jocelyn will be a key member of the corporate team. She will handle all legal matters, including continued Data Protection, Privacy and Compliance practices, as well as directing Ve Interactive’s Intellectual Property strategy, from protection to enforcement, and directing external counsel where necessary.

A qualified IP and IT lawyer, Jocelyn previously worked as a digital lawyer for Lee & Thompson. Alongside her private practice experience she has also worked in-house on the commercial legal teams at Google and Telefonica Digital.

With the company showing exceptional growth over the last few months, a focused recruitment drive has been in place to handle its burgeoning client base that currently includes over 1700 brands from all over the world.
