Vargo Outdoors Expands Retail Division

Vargo Outdoors recently celebrated the Grand Opening of its new retail location in Lewisburg, PA at 2370 Old Turnpike Rd along the Buffalo Valley Rail Trail.

Lewisburg, PA (I-Newswire) July 9, 2012 - After serving the Lewisburg area for nearly 4 years in the downtown location, Brian Vargo, owner of Vargo Outdoors, is pleased to announce their expansion to a new 3,400 square foot facility with a broader variety of products and services. Vargo says, “Bicycle and Kayak rental services, boxed lunches, soft-serve frozen yogurt, fresh-brewed coffee and expanded outdoor gear and apparel selections are among the many features of our new store. We are very excited about our new location and offerings and look forward to serving all of our loyal customers and everyone that comes to enjoy the Rail Trail or hike the mountains of Pennsylvania.”

In attendance were members of the local small business development center, friends, family, staff members, and local citizens. Events and drawings were held all weekend long, including a tent setup speed test event and drawings for gift cards and merchandise.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett sent a certificate and letter of praise and support for Vargo Outdoors local business and community efforts, especially in supporting the newly opened Buffalo Valley Rail Trail.
