Online, April 29, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Unanimous was created in 2010 by Corey Johnson (aka Churchboy) and Jerry Johnson both from Decatur, Alabama. Corey is a 24 year old singer, rapper, songwriter, organ and piano player. He also serves as Minister of music for Solomon Temple Full Gospel Baptist Church in Athens, Alabama where Jerry L. Johnson Sr. is pastor. Jerry is 22 years old and a rapper, bass guitar player, songwriter and drummer. He serves as lead drummer for Solomon Temple. Together this duo has a combined eighteen years of experience in music. Most of all they have a love for our Lord, Jesus Christ.
On August 19, 2011, Unanimous released their latest CD titled "City Invasion". Two singles are being headlined on this CD titled "Rockstar" and "Go Ham".
"Rockstar is about letting people know that it is ok to be a rock star but you can't be a star without the rock (Jesus Christ). This song has a great hip-hop rhythm to it. The beat is hot and it gets the attention of fans from every walk of life. Between the beat and the message, you can't go wrong.
