TwitBacks Hosts AFI Twitter Background Contest

Twitter background personalization site, TwitBacks, hosts Twitter background design contest for rock band, AFI.

(I-Newswire) February 3, 2010 - Rock band, AFI, is partnering with Twitter background site, TwitBacks, to host a design contest promoting their latest album. Using AFI’s “Crash Love” album artwork and other stock images provided on the official contest page, entrants are to create and submit an original Twitter background. The winning design will be displayed on the band’s official Twitter page, which currently has more than 31,000 followers, and prizes will also be awarded for the top three designs.

TwitBacks will run the contest on their site beginning February 1, 2010, where AFI fans and designers can enter their original Twitter background designs for consideration. While the band will decide on the top winner, fans and visitors will vote on all of the submissions to determine the two runner-up designs. Contest entrants are encouraged to promote their designs via social media and other means to draw in as many votes as possible for their entry.
