Trianz Inaugurates IBM Rational Test Factory In India

Trianz, a global consulting and turnkey execution services firm, announced inauguration of the ‘IBM Rational Test Factory’ at its Bangalore office, India.

Bangalore (I-Newswire) February 7, 2013 - The Centre of Excellence (CoE) is part of Trianz’s offshore IBM Rational Initiative aimed at keeping pace with the ever changing needs of the competitive IT world. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Board member, Dr. A. L. Rao.

The IBM Rational CoE will play a critical role in enhancing the technical and process capabilities of Trianz on IBM Rational tools, solution designing, presales capability, and alliance management. It will focus on building frameworks, creating a knowledge base, and providing certifications.
Inaugurating the CoE, Sridhar Srinivasan, SVP IT Services, said, "Leveraging on the IBM AAA accreditation, the IBM Rational CoE will help us deliver more value to our clients and prospects through innovative solutions. The Rational solutions offer more reliable approach to application development and achieve desired results, minimizing the cost, risk, and time."

Speaking on the occasion, Ambuj Bhatnagar, Director - QA and Enterprise Application Services, outlined the future activities planned for the CoE. "We plan to continue building our technical and process expertise in leading IBM Rational products such as Rational Test Workbench, Rational Doors, Rational Requirement Composer, JAZZ-RTC, among others. Thereby we will be in a better position to serve our clients and assist them with their business needs," he stated.

The IBM Rational Test Factory is currently equipped with client machines installed with IBM Rational Test Workbench and a license server for load, integration, regression, and end-to-end functional testing. The laboratory has scope for further expansion and repertoire improvement as needed.
