These compact backplanes maximize high-performance computing flexibility by supporting up to eleven PCI Express 2.0 and PCIe 1.1 COTS option cards is an industrial computer. The backplanes also support a wide array of PICMG® 1.3 single board computers including Trenton’s JXT6966 featuring the latest quad-core Intel® Xeon® processors. A system designed with a BPC7041 or BPC7009 backplane, COTS PCI Express option cards and a JXT6966 SBC provides the speed, performance, flexibility and faster Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) critical in diverse applications such as military surveillance, video display walls, machine vision, silicon wafer manufacturing and medical diagnostic systems.
