Toyota Dealer Near Huntsville Putting Local Football Players On The Big Screen
The home of the Boaz Pirates, L. F. Corley Jr. Stadium, will have a new LED screen thanks to local Toyota dealer Sand Mountain Toyota.
Boaz, AL (I-Newswire) August 30, 2012 - The Toyota Yaris has been helping customers drive since its introduction in 1999. Now, thanks to a donation by Sand Mountain Toyota, a Toyota dealer near Huntsville, a 2012 Toyota Yaris will help fans witness drives on the football field.
Along with two other local dealers, Sand Mountain Toyota has donated a 2012 Toyota Yaris to the Boaz Quarterback Club. The Yaris will be raffled off on Friday, October 26 and proceeds will go toward the purchase of a new 20x15 foot LED screen for Boaz High School’s L. F. Corley Jr. Stadium.
Raffle tickets went on sale on August 18. The Boaz Quarterback Club is selling them for $5 apiece or $20 for five. This organization consists of parents, fans and community members dedicated to supporting the Boaz Pirates football team. Officials hope to have the new LED screen installed for the Pirates’ first home game against Columbia on September 14.
