Tommy Swanhaus, founder of The FreeStyle Life, was recently invited to join the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS). IADAS is an intellectually diverse organization whose select membership includes the leading film, television and music industry experts, evangelists, and visionaries working to advance the electronic medium. Swanhaus described the IADAS as "The Academy of all of media because it encompasses interactive advertising, website design, and online film and video." The International Academy selects the Nominees and Winners for The Webby Awards and The Lovie Awards, the leading honors for websites and individual achievement in technology and creativity. Members of IADAS include Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, Internet Inventor and Google Chief Internet Evangelist Vinton Cerg, Huffington Post Founder Arianna Huffington, along with musicians like David Bowie, and moguls like Martha Stewart. Members also include writers and editors from publications such as The New York Times, Wired, Forbes, and The Los Angeles Times.

While The FreeStyle Life co-founder is honored to be part of the Academy, the global platform is in the midst of its own exhibition. The FreeStyle Life Film Exhibition is the premier online film exhibition that features first rate feature films, documentaries and short films from independent filmmakers across the globe. The goal of the exhibition is to discover and bring awareness to up-and-coming filmmakers and their projects. While independent filmmakers often lack a credible and authentic place to showcase their work, The FreeStyle Life prides itself on allowing filmmakers to present their work to not only their peers in the artistic community, but also the larger global community of film lovers eager to see the work of emerging filmmakers with new unique voices and visions. Striving to transcend all borders, continents, and cultures, the worldwide film exhibition has evolved into the largest global platform for independent filmmakers to showcase their thought provoking and ground-breaking films to a truly international audience.

ABOUT THE FREESTYLE LIFE FILM EXHIBITION:
The FreeStyle Life Film Exhibition is committed to helping independent filmmakers showcase their work to a global audience. Unlike the restrictions associated with traditional film festivals, whether it be travel, expense, or accessibility, The FreeStyle Life aims to democratize the festival experience by delivering it to the palm of one's hand. Using a combination of both traditional and social media, the exhibition is the only film competition that personalizes, localizes, and democratizes the festival experience for the individual viewer. The FreeStyle Life Film Exhibition does not just limit itself to the traditional big screen; rather, the exhibition is accessible on all consumer touchpoints, so its international audience can engage "whenever, wherever, and however." The FreeStyle Life's World Premieres are available on "A La Cart Basis" or through a monthly subscription and allow for the audience to engage with the Directors in Live Question and Answer sessions on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
