This Halloween Season, Ward Off Ghosts And Goblins By Donating To The Upper Room’s Halloween Costume Drive
New and gently used Halloween costumes and props welcomed as donations
Derry, NH (I-Newswire) September 26, 2012 - The Upper Room, a family resource center in Derry, NH, is seeking infant, child, and teen sized Halloween costume donations for its 4th annual costume drive. Lightly used and new costumes and props will be accepted from now until October 19th. Drop off centers are located in Derry, and include The Upper Room, The Costume Gallery, Derry Parks & Recreation Veteran’s Hall, and Rig A’ Tony’s. Items will be distributed to local families in need, with children of the trick-or-treating age.
“This is the fourth year we’ve run our costume drive, and we’re always pleased to provide costumes for the families we serve,” stated Kimberly Bavaro, Executive Director of The Upper Room. “A Halloween costume may not seem like much in terms of a financial investment, but it means the world to a child who would otherwise have gone without. Above all, we’re helping families create positive experiences, and lasting memories.”
If you would like to help make a child’s face glow like a jack-o’-lantern’s this Halloween, then don’t be scared to donate today. Unlike some candy distribution baskets used on Halloween, the drop-off boxes won’t bite, trick or spook you. Details for drop-off locations are as follows:
