"Rock": The Luckiest Man in Pop: An Autobiography by Andros Georgiou.
The life story of George Michael from the only person who really knew him.

Tuesday, February 19, 2013 sees the official launch of ROCK: the Luckiest Man in Pop by Andros Georgiou at the legendary Book Soup in Los Angeles, CA, USA.

Book Soup was chosen for a personal reason. During the time George and Andros lived in L.A., their neighborhood was the legendary Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, CA. Per Andros: "Book Soup served as a second home to us as George and me had our offices in the building next door, and our beloved Tower Records was opposite, both he and I spent many hour, sometimes just popping in daily, searching their bookshelves for autobiographies by our favorite artists."

During the decadent 80's through the early 90's, Andros Georgiou was a leading figure in the music industry. He started out as a DJ alongside Paul Oakenfold and Gary Crowley, clubbing to partying alongside the biggest pop stars of the decade from Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran, The Pet Shop Boys, Culture Club, ABC, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Guns & Roses, Aretha Franklin, and, of course, Sir Elton John.

ROCK: The Luckiest Man in Pop is the ultimate back stage pass to a period of rock 'n' roll that will never be seen again.

The reviews keep coming in...

Nov 21, 2012 : "I have been a lifelong fan of George Michael and have never really been one for reading books, but haven't been able to put this book down, It is a must have for all George Michael fans. Brilliant!"

Nov 30, 2012: "Excellent book. Good insight into the day-to-day activities by George. All the stories match up to what George has said in various different interviews. I did note however that in the interview with Chris Evans in March 2011 [True Faith release] George did mention he had Godsons but he did not mention that he had not seen them for 13 years! A bit odd I thought. Thanks for this book Andros."
