The Mexican Caribbean Launches Official Social Media Platforms for the State of Quintana Roo

The state of Quintana Roo has announced the launch of its social media platforms on Facebook and Twitter under the name of MexCaribbean

The state of Quintana Roo has announced the launch of its social media platforms on Facebook and Twitter under the name of MexCaribbean, inviting travelers actively engage and follow the state's conversations for the latest on travel to the state.

"Our main goal is to promote the world-class destinations that Quintana Roo offers, reinforcing a strong presence on social networks as a region to complement the destination's tourism promotion efforts already in place and to help expand our audience, making travelers aware of the diversity in tourism that lies within the Mexican Caribbean," said Sara Latife, Secretary of Tourism for the state.

The idea behind launching Facebook and Twitter platforms for the Mexican Caribbean is to establish direct conversations with different audiences, and to ultimately create and maintain loyal followers. In doing so, the state is implementing the latest in social media to promote the tourist attractions and new developments within the Mexican Caribbean, converting digital platforms into an important source of information for travelers. Through these outlets, the state will also offer special promotions, and contests for users to engage, discuss and interact on a variety of topics.

Quintana Roo State is located in the eastern Yucatan Peninsula, engulfed by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. The attractiveness of the area lies in the fusion of ancient Mayan culture mixed with the contemporary world, offering the most modern and varied tourist facilities combined with the best hospitality in the region.

Each destination offers a unique charm that meets the specific requirements and desires of every visitor.
