The Lindgren Group Announces People on the Move

The Lindgren Group, a management company in the metal finishing industry based in Minneapolis, has announced a number of management changes within their organization.

The Lindgren Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Battaglia to the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Battaglia will continue to lead the company’s sales force, business development efforts, and customer support staff. In addition, he will be responsible for the firm’s strategic marketing efforts, providing leadership and direction on new finishes and markets. He will also be responsible for driving key technology initiatives. Battaglia joined The Lindgren Group in 2004 as the Director of Sales and has held key sales and management leadership positions in the metal finishing and manufacturing industries over the last 20 years.

General Manager
Nico Products Inc., part of The Lindgren Group, named Paul Hanson as General Manager. Most recently, Hanson was the Technical Director responsible for the lab, chemical maintenance, and research & development. Prior to joining the company in 2008, he was a Project Manager with Integrated Technology Engineering, Inc in Rochester, Minnesota. Hanson has held a number of managerial and technical positions in the metal finishing and chemical manufacturing and distribution industries, including a short stint at Nico Products in 2005.

Operations and Process Development Manager
Tom Mason has joined Nico Products as the Operations and Process Development Manager. Mason will be responsible for all aspects of operations including shipping, production, maintenance, scheduling, expediting, and administration. In addition, he will lead the firms’ efforts in process design and development, efficiency and productivity enhancements, and overall work-flow management. Mason has spent the past five years with TechMetals, Inc. in Dayton, Ohio managing and quoting six of the companies plating lines as well as being a member of the R&D team responsible for implementing new technology.
