The Internet Group Bags Two Finalist SDI Awards 2010

The Internet Group (www.theinternetgroup.com) is delighted to announce that they are Finalist for IT Service Supplier of the Year and The Internet Group's Matthew John, Support Services Manager, also bagged finalist for IT Service Professional Awar

The Service Desk Institute (SDI), a leading independent professional organisation for the IT service and support industry, has today announced that The Internet Group is one of three finalists in the running for their prestigious IT Service Supplier and IT Service Professional of the Year Award.

IT Service Excellence Awards 2010, now in their 15th year, aim to recognise, promote and acclaim excellence, professionalism and innovation in the industry, and celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals and teams for the contribution they make.

An independent survey was conducted by the Service Desk Institute asking clients to assess their IT Service Supplier. The survey asked clients to rate every aspect of their supplier's performance including quality of service, understanding, and knowledge, impact on client's business operations, client services and value for money. The Internet Group was one of three to have received the highest score during this survey.

The Internet Group asked all their clients to participate in the survey via prompts such as emails, email signatures and e-newsletters. They were asked to provide honest feedback on the quality of service they receive from The Internet Group. Feldman explains: "We pride ourselves in providing our clients with complete transparency in to our services, so we were quietly confident that our customers were able to measure and rate our services favourably."

The winner will be announced at the Grand in Brighton, on Tuesday 8 June 2010 at the annual awards dinner which coincides with the annual SDI Service Desk & IT Support Show.

Feldman concludes: "Both these awards are important for us as it reinforces the SDI 3 star accreditation we achieved back in November 2009. The 3 Stars prove that we have the maturity, the disciplines, the processes and the accountability to be a world class managed service provider. We pride ourselves on quality and being selected as a finalist demonstrates that our company is aiming in the right direction. We are very much looking forward to the awards evening in June."
