The Florida Key Lime Pie Festival In Historic Cocoa Beach

The Florida Key Lime Pie Company is presenting the 2nd annual event from today from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Orlando (I-Newswire) January 20, 2013 - The Florida Key Lime Pie Company is presenting the 2nd Annual Florida Key Lime Pie Festival on Saturday, January 19th, 2013. The event will be held at the Riverfront Park in Historic Cocoa Village which is centrally located along “Florida’s Space Coast”. The festival will feature Florida’s State Chef and Culinary Ambassador, along with a diversity of the Sunshine State’s most savored and well respected chefs, food vendors and restaurants showcasing dishes reflecting their unique culinary flair, utilizing an infusion and presentation of Florida’s infamous citrus favorite, the Key Lime.

This year’s theme is “Meet the Locals” and The Florida Key Lime Pie Company will also be introducing Florida’s “Miss Florida Key Lime Pie” Contest, as well as the company’s ever popular “Florida Key Lime Pie Eating Contest”. The event will also feature a Key Lime Chili head’s “Hot Sauce Competition” and The Best of Florida’s Bartenders “Key Lime Pie Martini” and “Key Lime Pie Margarita” Challenge as well as several nationally acclaimed entertainers and musicians.

There will be many different versions of Key Lime Pies available, including their “Key Lime Pie in a Cup” and “Key Lime Pie in a Coconut,” along with slices from their “Restaurant Style Deep Dish” as well as whole pies to take home.
