(I-Newswire) October 23, 2009 - El Dorado Hills, CA, October 23, 2009 – As Kathie DeBord celebrates her 24th year as a full-time real estate agent and prepares to serve as President of the El Dorado County Association of REALTORS® for 2010, The DeBord Group has joined ERA Realty Center in Town Center.

Mike DeBord, a licensed real estate broker, has been a real estate professional for 19 years. In addition to working with wife Kathie, Mike also worked for Parker Development Company selling custom lots in Serrano and previously for Southpointe, another custom lot subdivision in El Dorado Hills. Jason DeBord, also a licensed broker, has been working with The DeBord Group since 2005. Previously, Jason served as Chief Operations Officer to The Broadband Group for six years. Kathie DeBord was elected to the El Dorado County Association of REALTORS® (EDCAR) as a member of the Board of Directors in 2006, where she has served as Treasurer and President Elect. Kathie will be the President of the Board for 2010. Jason DeBord was elected to the EDCAR Board of Directors for a three year term, beginning in 2010. Both Kathie and Jason also serve on the Board of Directors for C.A.R.E. (Catastrophic Aid for Real Estate), which serves as a “safety net” for real estate professionals and their families in times of need. In addition, Jason recently served as Co-Chairman for the EDCAR Charity Golf Classic, which raised funds for “Backpacks for Kids”, a cause managed by Kathie DeBord, which puts together backpacks with essentials for children processed through Child Protective Services in El Dorado County.
