The Deadline For The 2010 International College Counselors Scholarship Is Approaching Fast

International College Counselors, a company specializing in expert college counseling, is offering over $1000 in scholarships. The deadline to apply is approaching fast. The application can be found on the International College Counselors website.

(I-Newswire) February 23, 2010 - Apply now for the opportunity to get a $250 scholarship.

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is February 27, 2010.

All students in 9th through 11th grade are encouraged to participate.

A 500 to 1000 word essay is required that answers the question:
What makes a good college education?

The application can be downloaded at the International College Counselors website. High school counselors or college placement advisors can request applications by calling 1-954-658-4570.

Scholarships will be awarded to five students. Three winners will be chosen from within Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County. One winner will be selected from the U.S. - outside Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County. An additional winner will be selected from outside the U.S. who wishes to attend college in the U.S.

All 5 winners will receive a $250 scholarship provided by International College Counselors.

The purpose of the International College Counselors Scholarship is to increase awareness of the value of higher education among high school students.
