The Cult Movie Network Launches on Sony

The Cult Movie Network announces launch on the Sony Entertainment Network

The Cult Movie Network today announced the launch of its video streaming service on Sony Entertainment Network, making its library of "hidden gems" available on select Sony BRAVIA TVs, Sony Blu-ray and Home Theatre devices.

"We are excited to launch our video streaming service on Sony Entertainment Network. The launch solidifies that The Cult Movie Network is keeping pace with emerging entertainment and technology trends" said Garrett Kohler, VP of The Cult Movie Network.

The network's following belongs to the underground entertainment scene and those who are not looking for everyday mainstream movies. They hunt for entertainment that pushes the boundaries of conventional movie methods. Though these movies are often labeled as "low-budget films", they hold high entertainment value and offer the creative risks that fans seek.

The movies available on The Cult Movie Network are unique, and are difficult to find anywhere else on television. With titles like "Attack of the Vegan Zombies", "Machine Head", and "Rock N Roll Frankenstein", these movies give fans the unusual plot lines they seek.

Since launching in 2010, The Cult Movie Network has become available as a linear television service and as an online video-on-demand service. The launch on Sony has allowed The Cult Movie Network to extend its reach into the homes of fans worldwide.
