After completion, the single and album were brought to the attention of TMG Grace Executives Tom McGee and Bob Tirado and that was it! Ron was signed to the label and soon afterward the label released both his album “Ron C Walters, Here Is My life” and the single rendition “I Can’t Go For That”. Since his record release, Ron has resumed his schedule of live appearances around the US where he and his music have been very well received by radio, retailing outlets, new and old fans alike. Before leaving the Windy City, Ron took a photo-op with Congressman, Danny Davis of Illinois and Mayor David Web from one of Chicago’s largest surrounding cities, Markham, IL, and he ended his visit with stopping by the fame Jessie Jackson’s Operation Push. To add to this auspicious beginning for Ron C Walters, the song, “I Can’t Go For That” debuts on Billboard Hot Single Sales Chart at the #25 spot. When asked how he feels about his recent list of accomplishments, Ron replied, “Wow!! Is all I can say!
