Test your eyesight with PODD Media's newest iPhone Application: Ocularis - The Eye Game

(I-Newswire) February 25, 2010 - PODD Media is serving up a unique iPhone application – an interactive game designed to test and enhance the user's optic abilities. Released in February 2010, Ocularis - The Eye Game is an application bundle composed of three highly engaging eye games.

Tap The Diff, the first game in the application, is a variation on the classic game, Spot The Difference. Users try their hand at identifying the subtle differences between two images. Camouflage Mania, based on the popular hidden objects game, checks the user's shape recognition skills by challenging the user to locate all the objects hidden in the image. Lastly, the Color Challenge game checks for color blindness through the integration of Ishihara graphics in an updated take on the classic puzzle game. Game play is made more exciting through the addition of a time pressure element, with game durations decreasing as the game's difficulty level increases.

All of the games in this application come with five levels of difficulty, ensuring hours of entertaining game play. Additional level packs will be made available with future updates.

Ocularis is also an educational iPhone application. It aims to educate its users about one's eyesight and does so by providing useful information on shape recognition, color blindness, and visual acuity through in-game pop ups displayed during game intervals. On top of that, a fourth section on the application called Eye Facts provides the player useful information on parts of the eye, different conditions of the eye, and tools one can use to improve eyesight.
