Terra med Alliance News Come Support ‘The Walk’

(I-Newswire) November 4, 2009 - Lace up your tennis shoes, bring a friend, and come support Children’s Leukemia Foundation of
Michigan on Saturday, September 26, 2009, as supporters walk a scenic three-mile route for a cure. Registration will start at 8 a.m. and “The Walk” will begin at 10 a.m.

“The Walk” will take place through Petoskey’s historic Bay View Resort Community. Children’s
Leukemia Foundation of Michigan is currently servicing over 200 patients in Northern Michigan.
All money raised at “The Walk” will stay in Northern Michigan. “The Walk” will include food, refreshments and entertainment. Those who plan to take part in “The Walk” may also register online at www.leukemiamichigan.org.
There is $20 registration fee to participate in “The Walk.” Each participant who raises $100 will receive a 2009 “The Walk” T-shirt. The $20 registration fee will go towards the $100 required to receive “The Walk” T-shirt.

The Children's Leukemia Foundation is proud to announce they are working with By Design
Marketing; based in northern Michigan, to plan The Walk at Petoskey. By Design is a marketing and event planning company established by Elizabeth Mrozinski and Sarah Withey. Elizabeth and Sarah have been working locally in a number of different marketing and event planning capacities. This has been an exciting year for both women with the launch of their business By Design and the arrival their sons Chase and Cohen this fall. By Design is a full service marketing company and is available to assist all your personal and professional needs!
To make the event even more exciting, supporters can recruit and name their teams. They can then register their teams online at www.leukemiamichigan.org, where they may set up a personalized fundraising page to share their stories. Family members and friends of the teams may donate via credit card on the Web site through the participant’s page.
