Using GRB Grids a Temporary Car Park for the London Ambulance Service was created to solve their parking problems.

Grassform Plant Hire’s contracts team have been busy this January with the installation of a new GRB overflow car park for the London Ambulance Service. The GRB grid tiles have been used to provide an overflow car park for staff at the busy ambulance station that was previously a wasted grassed area.

Grassform Plant Hire’s install team took less than two weeks to install the 500 M 2 car parks. Now the station has the additional car parking that it desperately needed it has relieved the congestion dramatically on site. The LAS can also tick its green credentials as the GRB Grid tile is a fully recycled UK product made from industrial waste plastic that would normally go into landfill. The S.U.D.S compliant car park was backfilled with a sand soil mix so once the grass grows it will be green too.
