TechBridge, a nonprofit that drives community impact by bringing affordable business and technology expertise to other nonprofits, is now accepting applications for the 2014 Technology Innovation Award, given by Accenture. This award will help a Georgia-based nonprofit implement a technology project to become more efficient and effective in serving the community.

"We know that ingenuity and resourcefulness run deep in the nonprofit community," said TechBridge CEO, James Franklin. "As organizations committed to using innovation to improve the way the world works and lives, TechBridge and Accenture are excited to work together to support deserving nonprofits by increasing their capacity to serve our community through technology."

The 2014 Technology Innovation Award winner will receive up to $25,000 in TechBridge services and a $5,000 grant to support the technology project, both underwritten by Accenture, as well as thousands of dollars in donated software. The winner and two finalists will be announced May 3, 2014 at the TechBridge Digital Ball, which will host more than 800 guests, including Atlanta's most influential technology and business leaders.

"Accenture is committed to helping both our clients and the nonprofits in our community apply technology to improve operations and overall performance," said Craig Ramsey, Atlanta managing director for Accenture. "We look forward to presenting this prestigious award for the thirteenth consecutive year and will continue to encourage nonprofits to develop their technology capabilities through this important program."

About TechBridge
Many nonprofits lack the expertise and financial resources to benefit from technology. TechBridge provides nonprofits the tools, resources and connections they need to better use technology to further their missions. This is made possible by the support TechBridge receives from corporations, individuals and foundations who come together in meaningful ways to benefit our community. TechBridge's signature fundraising gala, The Digital Ball, unites Atlanta's technology community to celebrate the impact technology can have in strengthening our community.
