TAU Introduces Distance & E-Learning Programs in Clinical Research

Texila American University (TAU) announces the distance and online learning for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Clinical Research. The series of courses include PG Certificate and PG Diploma levels with multiple subjects varying from Pharmacovigilance to Clinical Data Management or Research and Regulatory Affairs to Good Clinical Practice based on the International Conference of Harmonization.

The Clinical Trial program, in TAU, provides the students to handle new therapies, vaccines or diagnostic procedures to find treatments that work in people. The research curriculum strictly facilitates a perfect balancing of self-growth as well as welfare of the society. For PG Certification, the Clinical Research along with Pharmacovigilance or GCP/GLP/ICH will be a six month course. Similarly for the PG Diploma program, the Clinical Research with Regulatory Affairs or Clinical Data Management would be one year course.

Master's Degree in Clinical Research (MSc) is covered in four semesters (i.e. 2 years), but in case of Lateral Entry, it is restricted to two semesters (i.e. one year). In order to pursue the Master Degree, the student should have completed the Undergraduate Degree either in Medicine/Life Science/Pharmaceutical Nursing/Allied Clinical Research. The PhD program is covered in six semesters and the curriculum mainly deals with research, article reviews and publications. Webinars will be conducted so as to enable interaction of the students with the faculty.
