Syvantis Technologies, Inc. Is Recognized by Microsoft for Its Azure Cloud Services

Recently, Microsoft published a case study highlighting Catalogic Software's move from its on premise deployment of Microsoft Dynamics GP to a hosted deployment on the Microsoft Azure cloud, through Syvantis Technologies, Inc.

The case study published by Microsoft noted that "Syvantis deployed, configured, and provisioned Microsoft Dynamics GP rapidly, migrating existing financial data […] with virtually no disruption to the business or to financial processes." James Farrell, Manager of Data Protection Software Services at Catalogic, stated that his company has "zero tolerance for downtime. And in the end, there was no downtime. There was no disruption to the business."

Janelle Riley, President of Syvantis Technologies, Inc., said of the publication, "I am very pleased that Catalogic was happy with their migration to the Azure cloud. We know that it is very important for our clients to see very little or no disruption in their day-to-day processes - and we work very hard to ensure that their transition is as painless as possible. I truly believe that small and mid-size business benefit greatly from cloud-based services and it is our mission to help our clients use these tools to run their companies more efficiently and effectively."

Syvantis began testing in Azure in July of 2012 and made the decision to begin implementing the GP Web Client in March of 2013 with the intention of hosting it on Microsoft Azure datacenters. In July 2013 Microsoft announced the general availability of Dynamics GP on Azure and shortly thereafter Syvantis went live with its Azure hosting options for clients under the name Syvantis GP Online™.

Syvantis specializes in deploying Dynamics GP (formerly Great Plains) in the secure and reliable Microsoft Azure cloud, allowing its clients to free up their IT resources and reduce investment in physical infrastructure.
