Super Woman Productions and Publishing Announces Special Performance At International Women's Day Event In Detroit
Super Woman Productions and Publishing accomplishes two historical firsts with one event, in celebration of International Women's Day on Friday, March 8, 2013 in Detroit, Michigan.
Detroit, MI (I-Newswire) February 27, 2013 - Women's Day Tea - Sip and Sushi is being held in celebration of International Women's Day. This is the first and only event of its kind held in the entire state of Michigan. The inaugural Women’s Day Tea, themed Sip and Sushi, will take place on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 6pm. Women’s Day Tea is being held at Socra Tea Detroit, located at 71 Garfield, Detroit, Michigan, which is a woman owned business. Vendors at this event are also woman owned businesses.
This event also includes a live broadcast of The FabLife Radio Show, hosted by Super Woman and Mista Ecks, with confirmed celebrity guests Ms. Smiley and Mae Day, along and special invited guests YoYo, Spinderella and MC Lyte.
El DeBarge Jr. will make his first Detroit performance appearance at Women’s Day Tea. El DeBarge Jr. is an independent recording artist whose first album is “Welcome To The Lion’s Den”. El is the son of El DeBarge, the iconic lead singer of the hit R&B group DeBarge from Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Tickets for Women’s Day Tea are $20 each and selling fast. Tickets are available on EventBrite by searching for Women's Day Tea or International Women's Day in Detroit, Michigan. Information is also available on the Super Woman Productions and Publishing website.
Proceeds from this event will go to the I Feel Good: Mind Body and Soul Women's Conference Fund to cover costs for young ladies 11 to 18 years old to attend the upcoming event to be held in August 2013. .
