Super Woman Productions and Publishing Hosts Official International Women's Day Event In Detroit

Women's Day Tea - Sip and Sushi is in celebration of International Women's Day and is the first and only event of its kind held in Detroit, Michigan on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 6pm.

Detroit, MI (I-Newswire) February 19, 2013 - Women's Day Tea - Sip and Sushi is being held in celebration of International Women's Day. This is the first and only event of its kind held in Detroit, Michigan. This International Women's Day event takes place on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 6 pm and lasts until 10 pm. Women's Day Tea - Sip and Sushi event is being held at Socra Tea Detroit, located at 71 Garfield, Detroit, Michigan, which is a woman owned business. Vendors at this event are also woman owned businesses. Vendor spaces for this event sold out the first week.

This International Women's Day event also includes a live broadcast of The FabLife Radio Show, hosted by Super Woman and Mista Ecks, with special invited celebrity guests Ms. Smiley, Mae Day, YoYo, Spinderella. More entertainment and additional special guests are expected to attend the event. There is also a raffle of items donated by local businesses, including Wet Peach Swimwear, which is also a woman owned business in Metro Detroit.

Tickets are $20 each and the price includes sushi and a personal pot of tea for each attendee to enjoy. Tickets are available for advance purchase on EventBrite by searching for Women's Day Tea. Information is also available on the Super Woman Productions and Publishing website.

Proceeds from this event will go to the I Feel Good: Mind Body and Soul Women's Conference Fund to cover costs for young ladies 11 to 18 years old to attend the upcoming event to be held in August 2013.

Attendees of Women's Day Tea - Sip and Sushi must be 18 years old or older to attend.
