SunCooking Launches New Hot Water Solar Kettle

The SunRocket solar kettle is the latest solar innovation from Australian solar cooking company.

New York (I-Newswire) October 5, 2012 - SunCooking recently launched the new SunRocket solar hot water solar kettle after more than 12 months in design and testing. The new product is available for purchase along with the other SunCooking products at http:/www.suncookingus.com

The SunRocket kettle uses a Vycor vacuum tube boosted by highly reflective panels to heat water or cook foods.  It holds 450ml (16oz) and weighs just 1kg (2.2lbs) when empty. The SunRocket hot water solar kettle folds into a very robust and portable thermos and can keep the contents hot for hours. Weather depending, it takes around one hour to heat water for drinking, washing or cooking.

Many people use solar powered appliances such as those from SunCooking to take the heat out of the kitchen and reduce energy bills. Solar powered cooking tools are also useful for traveling, on picnics, camping, boating and fishing. The SunRocket solar kettle is also an essential part of any emergency preparation kit, as it not only heats water for drinking but it can also kill water borne bacteria though heat treatment, be used to rehydrate freeze dried food and even to melt snow!

SunCooking products are available for purchase online just in time for the holiday rush at http//www.SuncookingUS.com . The SunRocket solar kettle is available for $59.50.
