Phoenix, AZ (I-Newswire) February 1, 2012 - Sanderson Volvo of Phoenix is proud to announce that the third annual Carefree – Cave Creek Balloon Festival, which the Phoenix Volvo dealer co-hosted, was a success. The hot air balloon festival raised money to benefit the Tim & Willy Kid’s FUN-Dation.

The 2012 Carefree – Cave Creek Balloon Festival took place on Saturday, January 21. In addition to the showcase of hot air balloons of all shapes and sizes, the event also included live music, food and beverages, fireworks, a kids-only zone, and an appearance by the Arizona Skyhawks Parachute Team.

To raise money for the Tim & Willy Kid’s FUN-Dation, VIP tickets were available. These tickets gave attendees access to a private VIP area with seating, fire pits, a bar, and a buffet dinner. $20 from each VIP ticket went to the FUN-Dation. Sanderson Volvo’s partner and co-host, Sanderson Lincoln, also helped raise money for the organization by offering test drives of their Lincoln lineup. For each test drive, the Phoenix dealership donated $20 to the FUN-Dation as well.

There were over 6,000 paid attendees at the 2012 Carefree – Cave Creek Balloon Festival, helping the event raise about $3,500 for the Tim & Willy Kid’s FUN-Dation.
