Study Public Relations Online In English, Spanish, Russian, French & Polish
The Irish Academy of Public Relations launched its Certificate in Public Relations course in five languages this week. The course, which is taught online by PR professionals, is available in English, Spanish, Russian, French and Polish.
Online, February 6, 2013 (Newswire.com) - The Irish Academy of Public Relations launched its Certificate in Public Relations course in four new languages this week. The course, which is taught online, has been available in English for almost 20 years and is now available, for the first time, in Spanish, Russian, French and Polish.
The course modules were all translated by native speakers who are graduates of the Academy. The tutors who teach the PR course are PR professionals with fluency in their language. Tutors are based all over the world. The course is taught over 10 weeks, and students are required to complete one module per week.
"Small to medium sized businesses, charities, sporting bodies, government departments and celebrities all know the importance of good public relations. Now, people have a chance to study this fascinating industry in their own language, at their own pace, online, and gain a qualification which is used internationally" said Ellen Gunning, director of the Irish Academy of Public Relations.
The Academy has graduates working in America, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lesotho, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.
The Certificate in Public Relations course teaches participants how to write press releases, organize photo-calls, design newsletters, maximize sponsorship opportunities, get the most from exhibitions and prepare for crisis.
The Irish Academy of Public Relations has been teaching Public Relations courses since 1992. The Academy's director, Ellen Gunning, is delighted with this new development.
