Stilt World To Perform With Jennifer Lopez At American Music Awards

Los Angeles, CA (I-Newswire) November 19, 2011 - Stilt World uniquely combines traditional and classical dance movements with thematic elements of cabaret and powerful ritualistic expression, all while perched atop peg stilts to effectively push the boundaries of performance. The dance troupe’s distinctive and engaging style has most recently been highlighted in America's Next Top Model: All-Stars cycle 17 episode 3, Britney Spears “Circus” Video, Glee in the “Power of Madonna” episode and the Grand Finale of Lakme Fashion Week 2011 held in Mumbai, India.

Stilt World was conceived by Trey Knight, a dynamic performer whose career spans 25 years and 25 countries with talents ranging from former Cirque du Soleil featured artist for the TV production of “Solstrom” and world premiere gala of “KA”, to dance captain performing for Paul McCartney’s world tour, to Gold Medalist at the 1995 Artistic Roller Skating World Championships, to Stilt Virtuoso. These days, Knight’s diverse talents contribute to Stilt World not just as the Artistic Director and Choreographer, but also as one of the featured Artists and the Costume Designer.

Past performances include Cirque du Soleil, Superbowl 2008, NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”, the Latin Grammy Awards, Christina Aguilera’s World Tour, Panic at the Disco national tour, L.A. Fashion week, commercials for Verizon, Target, Cadbury and Ford; as well as music videos for Christina Aguilera, Fergie and Miley Cyrus.
