Mr. West, who travels the world in search of gems for his unique jewelry designs, says the new website will broaden his audience from his VIP Beverly Hills clientele in Southern California to a wider global market.

Mr. West has been designing jewelry for more than 25 years, with most of that time spent working with fashionable, well known clientele in Beverly Hills, where his exclusive jewelry designs have found their way into many private collections. Many of these designs are now available for the first time ever via his new website, including many of the designer’s one of a kind designs with pearls and gemstones.

“I have a great interest in pearls, and I like them big and with natural baroque shapes. I have traveled to China, Thailand and other parts of the world looking for superior sources of quality pearls and gems,” remarked Mr. West.

Pearls are the only gems created by a living organism, so they hold a special place in Mr. West’s jewelry. The colors and the shading of the designer’s selected pearls are influenced by minerals that flow in the waters where the pearls are growing. As layer upon layer of the pearl forms, the color is infused into every layer of nacre. As a result, each pearl takes on color uniquely, resulting in a pearl of amazing vibrancy with iridescent tones. Like a snowflake, pearls are one of-a-kind delights, and the jewelry designs reflects this interest in what type of intense colors nature can infuse into pearls and stones.

All the jewelry is handmade with great care and features 14k gold and 18k gold and 14k gold-filled wire and chain, which is a sheet of 14k gold heat bonded on to the metal.
