Stephanie Stiggers-Smith New VP of Sales

Cleveland, OH (I-Newswire) January 30, 2012 - Wizard of Ahs, a full-service event planning and management company, has named Stephanie Stiggers-Smith its Vice President of Sales. From product launches to half-time shows, Wizard of Ahs has been creating breathtaking spectacles around the world for nearly three decades. In her new role, Stiggers-Smith will focus on bringing more of Wizard of Ahs event magic to the Great Lakes region and the world. “In the past few years we’ve done large, over-the-top corporate meetings and branding stunts in Las Vegas, and Public Relations Events in Australia, Japan and Taiwan,” says Mark Cheplowitz, Wizard of Ahs president. “While the company will continue to cross the country and circle the globe, we don’t want to miss opportunities to share our own brand of experiential marketing and memorable moments with Greater Cleveland. I am counting on Stephanie to help us do that too.”

To represent Wizard of Ahs service in the United States, Caribbean, Europe, Scandinavia, and Asia, Stiggers-Smith will have to use the many connections she has built with her 20-year background in sales, marketing, hospitality and media. She’s certainly no stranger to conventions, tradeshows, meetings and major events having been national sales manager for Positively Cleveland, the convention and visitors bureau of Greater Cleveland, and an account executive for Plansoft, a provider of web-based solutions for savvy meeting planners. Stiggers-Smith also handled the introduction of new products and customer programs while an account representative for American Greetings.

Certified by Destination Marketing Association International in Sales, Quality Training, and Consultative Sales Training, Stiggers-Smith currently sits on the editorial board of Cleveland Business Connects (CBC) Magazine.
