Star Furniture Celebrates Grand Opening of New Clear Lake Showroom

Webster, TX (I-Newswire) May 5, 2011 - Star Furniture celebrated the Grand Opening of their newest showroom at 20010 Gulf Freeway in Clear Lake Wednesday evening with an invitation-only event for Preferred Customers. Patrons enjoyed light fare, live music and good ol' Texan hospitality while they got a sneak peek at the sparkling 76,000 sq. ft. store and an opportunity to shop the Grand Opening sale before the general public. In addition to the Grand Opening Sale prices, Preferred Customers were also invited to save even more during the evening celebration while helping local charities. For a $20 donation to the United Way of Greater Houston, they received a voucher for an extra 20% off Grand Opening prices.

Just like all Star showrooms, the new Clear Lake store is a showcase of style for all types, offering Texas's largest home furnishings section from brand-names like Thomasville, Bernhardt, and Natuzzi. Star also features area rugs, artwork, custom draperies and custom furnishings, as well as interior design services and free decorating seminars throughout the year.

Star currently has six showrooms in Houston and one each in Austin, San Antonio and Bryan.
