SPI High School Study Abroad Announces Final Application Deadline of April 15, 2013 for Summer Immersion Programs

Leading high school study abroad provider announced its final application deadline of April 15, 2013 for summer language immersion and global leadership programs.

Austin, TX (I-Newswire) March 7, 2013 - SPI Study Abroad, program provider of high school language immersion and leadership programs, announced today its final application deadline of April 15, 2013 for its summer programs in Spain, France, Italy, Costa Rica, and China.

“We are currently swamped with incoming enrollments from the March deadline,” said admission and program advisor Carrie Straub. “While most students and their families are getting ready for spring break right now, at SPI we are still busy with applications and preparing for this year’s summer abroad programs.”

SPI Study Abroad posts application deadline updates and reminders to the spiabroad.com website regularly throughout the school year, as well as via the SPI Facebook page, SPI blog and e-mail newsletters. The company projects that by the April 15 deadline, most SPI summer immersion programs will have already reached maximum capacity.

“If someone has a specific summer program preference, I would strongly recommend they submit their application prior to the April deadline as some programs will close soon as they reach capacity,” confirms Straub.

As a small, but rapidly growing high school study abroad provider, SPI has reported a significant increase in enrollment numbers consecutively for the last 5 years, yet customer service is still their top priority.

“While we are a growing company, it is still very important to us that we maintain our reputation for quality programs and level of personalized service, which SPI alumni families can testify is an important part to the overall high school study abroad experience,” said executive director Jeremy Goodwin. “I expect this will be one of our biggest and best summers abroad. We look forward to expanding and continuing to make large strides in our field.”
