Sophos Recognized as a Leader in the 2011 Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms

Dubai (I-Newswire) February 1, 2012 - IT security and data protection company Sophos today announced it has been positioned in the “Leaders” quadrant of Gartner, Inc’s 2011 "Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms." The quadrant is based on an assessment of a company’s ability to execute and completeness of vision.

According to the report, Gartner “continues to view the protection from malware as a primary purpose of the EPP solution, and this year, (we) focused our analysis on features or enhancements that result in higher detection rates or improved ability to reduce the attack surface on endpoints.”
