Lagos (I-Newswire) November 1, 2011 - As their contribution to the microfinance sector, an indigenous firm, iTrends Software Limited is offering their premium microfinance banking software to twelve (12) microfinance banks in Nigeria for free. The official price of said software is 2.65 Milion Naira. Beneficiaries will not pay for this software license fees. However, beneficiaries will be expected to pay for training and implementation fees of N570,000.

The software solution, iBanker, is complete microfinance management solution with financial management and fixed assets, banking and credit management, human resource/payroll, and SMS and email notification modules. This free license also comes with 5,000 (five thousand) units of free SMS and a dedicated email account for SMS and email notifications respectively.

Every microfinance bank in Nigeria is eligible to apply for this offer. Banks which desire to benefit from this offer should go to www.itrendsoftware.com/free and complete the online application form. Applicants are required to write a comprehensive essay of not more than 350 words, stating why they should be considered for this free offer. Applications are open from November 1st to 20th 2011.
