National Jewish Health, a collaborative health group, recently studied a range of children to see why they didn’t exercise and what helped them to be more enthusiastic about exercising.

The group found that children were more willing to exercise if their parents joined in with them. It is important to keep children active in order for them to stay fit and healthy. A recent study made by the BBC showed that about 16% of boys and girls aged 12-15 were either overweight or obese. In order to lower this statistic parents need to continue playing with their children but also take them with friends to indoor play centres, where they can be active with others their age.
