Austin, Texas

"Keep Austin Weird" is a t-shirt slogan you are sure to see a lot of in this city, in large part because of the uniqueness of its residents and businesses. Locals and visitors alike gather along Austin's 6th Street to visit the area's best nightlife. The already strong music scene gets further expanded when the city hosts some of the most popular music festivals in the country, including South by Southwest, the Austin City Limits Music Festival, or the Urban Music Festival. While in the region, many also visit the Texas Hill Country, an area of rolling hills and bike paths outside the city limits. Barton Springs, which supplies water to the Barton Springs Pool, is also a popular place to visit for those looking for a break from the Texas summer heat.

Bahia Honda State Park, Florida

Bahia Honda has several white sandy beaches for you to enjoy. Calusa is the smallest beach; it is located on the northwest side of the island. There are several small pavilions in this area and a bathhouse with outdoor, fresh water showers. Loggerhead is the shallowest beach and is located on the south side of the island. It is known for the large shallow sand bar just a few feet offshore.

Boston, Massachusetts

Quincy Market is a popular destination that will get you oriented with both the layout and distinctive style of this historic city. And speaking of history, Fenway Park is popular with locals and tourists alike, and you don't even have to be a Red Sox fan to enjoy a game (but it helps!). You may also want to put some class in your trip and take a free walking tour of one of the many elite colleges located in Boston. Harvard, MIT and the famed Berkley College of Music are all loaded with historic buildings and grounds. Pretend you're a student for a day! The city is also home to one of the best aquariums in the eastern United States. When your visit at the aquarium is over, spend the rest of the day walking the waterfront or visiting one of Boston's excellent seafood restaurants.
