SkyAzure Publishing, the Independent Publisher based in Saltash, South East Cornwall, is proud to announce that it has secured the publication and distribution rights to "They Said You Was Dead", the debut short story collection from up-and-coming Westcountry author Deborah Frances Anderson.

The collection is currently in pre-production, the announcement of the book deal having been delayed for what SkyAzure describes as "operational and commercial reasons". The collection, SkyAzure's first such collection of short stories and Ms Anderson's debut, is scheduled for release sometime during Q4 of 2014.

SkyAzure Publishing officially launched in early 2014. It is based in Saltash, Cornwall and is a traditional royalty paying publisher. SkyAzure is currently accepting unsolicited electronic submissions from authors irrespective of prior publication history, one of the few UK publishing companies currently doing so. Postal submissions will be open soon. Most genres are welcome, although poetry and children's books are not currently being accepted - however young adult fiction is fine. SkyAzure is currently considering submissions for 2015 release however there is the potential for 2014 release should the right manuscript come along. The company boasts an already impressive international distribution network which includes ebook distribution as well as physical book sales, and is looking to expand its contacts with a view to having more books in more book shops over the coming weeks, months and years.
