Silicon Valley SCORE Announces Training Workshop for Managing a Small Business

Small Business Fundamentals Workshop Scheduled for October 17, 2012 in San Jose, CA

San Jose, CA (I-Newswire) October 10, 2012 - Silicon Valley SCORE presents a Small Business Fundamentals Workshop, a comprehensive full-day training workshop intended for both potential business owners and current business owners who want to gain a better understanding of what they need to know to succeed in their business.

This small business workshop will be held October 17, 2012 from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm at the Silicon Valley SCORE Office – 234 East Gish Road in San Jose, CA, 95112 - phone 408-453-6237.

Attendees will hear from a variety of SCORE and outside business mentors and professionals on subjects such as creating a business plan, local/state/federal taxes, acquiring funding, legal information, human resources, sales and marketing, understanding and measuring cash flow, and much more. Upon completion of this seminar, attendees will achieve a solid understanding of “How to Manage a Small Business”.

Silicon Valley SCORE also offers free business mentoring with two SCORE counselors for clients that wish to gain a stronger understanding, with answers for questions they have with their start-up or existing business.
