Side-splitting Laughs With Kurt Schoonraad At Bay Harbour Comedy Club
Laugh your head off with some of the best comics in SA at the Bay Harbour Comedy Supper Club on Wednesday 3 April 2013. While you are at it, fill your rumbling tummies with world-class food and thirst-quenching drinks on offer.
Cape Town (I-Newswire) March 20, 2013 -
Headlining act is Kurt Schoonraad the ‘mad’, ‘zany’, ‘lively’ and ‘manic’ comedian who hails from Mitchell's Plain. Kurt is one of Cape Town's favourite comedians with his earthy humour and unique social commentary that are truly South African. Although side-splittingly funny, he performs a clean act, focusing on the widespread diversity of our rainbow nation’s varied cultures.
Hosting the evening is popular comedian Martin Davis. Hecklers beware - Martin Davis skids and bounces across the stage firing off a relentless rapid-fire assault that hits every corner of the room and kills 100% of all known hecklers in their tracks. His interactions with an audience are legendary and form the vast majority of his set. His heavy cockney accent only enhances his wicked wit.
Support act Brendan Murray is an actor, writer, stand up and voice artist. He’s sold you things you didn’t need, hosted rock festivals, played in several Shakespeare dramas, has called the shots at Renegade Bingo and has been the ringmaster of many a burlesque circus. He’s also quite large. And loud. And burns bad poetry.
Not a night to be missed.
Doors open at 6pm, show starts at 8pm – tickets R70 standing or R90 reserved seating. Tickets available at the Boom Bar at Bay Harbour Market or online www.bayharbour.co.za/quicket.aspx
